I am an Artist!--Self Portraits

Kindergarten Self-Portraits

The Colors of Us by Karen Katz



Instructions:
1. Students write names on 12x18 paper
2. Students trace head and neck and shoulders shape onto paper. 
3. Students paint face neck and shoulders with skin color that is most like their own. 

NEXT WEEK we will add our faces!

Clean Up: 
1.Have students put their brushes in the dirty brush bucket when they are finished. 
2.Students carry paintings to teacher, and teacher puts them in the drying rack. 
3.Students return to their seats and get rags to wash hands and clean paint off tables.
