Landscape Painting

What is a landscape?

A landscape is a picture that shows a natural scene of land, or the countryside!
Head in the Clouds, Georgia O'Keeffe

The Starry Night, Vincent Van Gogh

Ploughed Cornfield, Edvard Munch

Envision:
Close your eyes and imagine an outdoor space that means something to you. It could be a farm, woods, or park. It may be an outdoor space that you've seen on vacation or when you visit your relatives.
Think of all of the details you can remember about a typical day at this place, such as the season, the weather, the time of day, the kind of trees, flowers, hills, mountains, and grass. Imagine what was nearby.

Drawing:
Draw a landscape on a 9x12 paper with Sharpie.

Questions:
What kind of landscape did you make?
Why did you choose the landscape that you painted?
